The University of Nottingham Taekwondo Club is a member of the TTA (Traditional Taekwondo Association). The Chairman and Chief Instructor of the TTA is Grandmaster T. K. Loh, 8th Dan. We have recently opened a new TTA club in nottingham, (TTA Nottingham City), open to everyone (students and non-students).
The University of Nottingham Traditional Taekwondo Club is a large and growing club, currently comprising more than 100 members, of both genders, many ages and ranging abilities. Our instructor, Gary Skinner (3rd Dan Black Belt) is an ex-student of the University of Nottingham.
Gradings are held at the end of each term, examined by Grandmaster Loh himself, in order to progress through the belts.
We also host the TTA Annual Summer School at the end of the summer holidays, giving students an opportunity to train for a whole week with Grandmaster Loh.
